Now, more than ever, Hospitality is a Gift
The Practice of Gracious Dining During the Holiday Season
On behalf of our incredibly hardworking team here at the Royal Gorge Route, we thank you for riding and ask for an extra dose of sincere kindness during this holiday season.
We are so fortunate to be open and stocked with everything we need to run our rolling restaurant up to four times daily through the Royal Gorge. Our star staff is working harder than ever before to make sure you have a truly wonderful experience. But like everyone else, we have fewer team members doing more than ever to make you happy and comfortable throughout your journey.
On occasion, things may take a little longer, and your time with us may just be a little bit different than in years’ past. Please be patient with us, and above all, please be kind to our team.
Our staff thrives on your kindness and appreciation – and it’s absolutely true that when you put kindness out into the world, you get it back.
We are so excited to celebrate this joyous time of year with you, and will be doing our very best to create wonderful memories for you and your family.
Don’t take our word for it
In 1905, President Teddy Roosevelt described our railroad as “The trip that bankrupts the English language!”.
This is a truly memorable train ride through the Colorado Rockies where we combine gorgeous scenery, exceptional service, and gourmet food, sourced locally and prepared fresh right on board the train for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Hop aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and experience a one-of-a-kind adventure through the Royal Gorge and Colorado Rockies. Departing daily from the Santa Fe Depot in Canon City.
