We have the distinction of being the oldest privately run art center in the United States, and our building is listed in the National Resister of Historic Places. Housed in the 1933 historic Post Office Building, FCA presents exhibits and events throughout the year for all ages and interests, exhibits a rotation of the Permanent Collection, conducts art classes and shares a Gift Shop of original work to the public.
Brand new describes the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, even though the park is almost nine decades old. In June 2013, the park was 90 percent destroyed by a wildfire. Miraculously, the Royal Gorge Bridge suffered minimal damage. A brand new Visitor Center along with brand new attractions and adventures, showcase the beauty of the gorge and the mind-boggling depth of America’s highest suspension bridge.
Admission includes a brand new aerial gondola, the Plaza Theater and Historical Expo, the new children’s play area featuring a carousel, and of course, the bridge with its 360 degree views of pure Colorado. The Royal Rush Skycoaster and Cloudscraper Zipline are an adrenaline rush not to be missed. Both are extra pay attractions. The park will continue to build over the next few years adding more fun-filled attractions. Be sure to watch our website or social media pages for all the updates!
