KKTV reporter Kelsie Ingram joined us on board the Santa Express Train to experience the holiday magic and learn what it takes to bring Colorado’s favorite Christmas ride to life.
Owners Mark and Dawn Greska shared how the Santa Express has grown into a beloved seasonal tradition and why the team begins planning all the way back in January. General Manager Tyler Cornelius explained the behind the scenes work that transforms the train into a glowing holiday experience each year.
Guests will notice lights along the entire train, more than 30,000 lights in Santa’s Village, and our new Aurora Borealis display that lights up the canyon in brilliant color. Families enjoy seasonal treats, warm drinks, classic railcar charm, and a visit from Santa himself as the train travels through the Royal Gorge.
